Meet Dr. Alicia Neil

Your Chiropractor in Strathfield

Serenity Chiropractic Centre opened in Strathfield in June 2025, founded by chiropractor Alicia Neil. After graduating from Macquarie University with a Bachelor and Master of Chiropractic, Alicia brings a fresh, evidence based approach combined with genuine passion and clinical expertise to the local community.

Alicia’s journey into chiropractic began in her teens when she suffered from debilitating migraines that lasted for weeks and were unresponsive to medical care. After finding relief through chiropractic treatment, her experience inspired a deep passion for the profession and a desire to help others facing similar health challenges. She has a special interest in headaches and TMJ disorders, and continues to expand her knowledge in neurological conditions and reformer pilates.

Before opening her own clinic, Alicia worked in Newcastle, where she developed and refined her patient centred approach grounded in compassion, connection, and results. This experience inspired her to create a space where personalised, meaningful care comes first.

Driven by a long standing goal to establish her own practice, Alicia founded Serenity Chiropractic Centre to provide tailored, evidence based care supported by individualised rehabilitation programs. Her holistic approach focuses on relieving pain, improving function, and empowering patients to take control of their health and wellbeing. At Serenity, every patient is welcomed into a warm, supportive environment where they feel heard, valued, and cared for.

Giving Back with Serenity

At Serenity Chiropractic Centre, we believe that caring for our community extends beyond the walls of our clinic. That’s why we created Serenity Saturday, a special initiative that allows our patients to invest in their own health while helping others.

The Story Behind Serenity Saturday

Serenity Chiropractic Centre was founded by Dr Alicia Neil, whose own health journey inspired this initiative.

In her early twenties, Alicia was diagnosed with several heart conditions, including heart block, mitral valve regurgitation, and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Navigating these diagnoses at a young age gave her a firsthand understanding of the challenges that can come with managing complex and chronic health conditions.

Through this experience, she recognised the importance of access to quality healthcare, education, support networks, and ongoing medical research. These experiences shaped her passion for giving back and supporting others facing similar health challenges. Due to this, Serenity Chiropractic Centre, hosts Serenity Saturday now and again. On these dedicated Saturdays, consultation fees from the day are donated directly to the Heart Foundation Australia, helping support life-saving research, education, and programs for Australians affected by heart disease.

Conditions We Treat at Our Strathfield Clinic

At Serenity Chiropractic Centre, we support patients across Strathfield and surrounding Inner West suburbs experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns. Whether symptoms have developed gradually over time or appeared suddenly, our chiropractic consultations focus on identifying the root cause and creating a personalised plan tailored to your needs.

Neck Pain & Stiffness

Neck tightness and limited range of motion can be influenced by posture, screen use, stress, or repetitive movements. During your consultation, we assess spinal alignment and muscular tension to better understand contributing factors and develop an appropriate care approach.

Postural Strain

Modern work habits often lead to rounded shoulders, forward head posture, and spinal imbalance. We regularly assist patients in Strathfield, Burwood, and Homebush seeking support for posture-related discomfort and long-term spinal health.

Tension Headaches

Certain headaches may be associated with muscular tightness or spinal dysfunction in the neck and upper back. Our assessment process helps determine whether chiropractic care may play a role in relieving related tension.

Workplace & Everyday Physical Strain

From desk work to physical occupations, repetitive strain and daily movement patterns can contribute to ongoing discomfort. Many patients from Strathfield and nearby suburbs visit us seeking guidance for managing everyday physical stress and improving overall function.

Lower Back Pain

Lower back discomfort is one of the most common reasons patients visit our Strathfield clinic. Prolonged sitting, lifting, workplace strain, and daily stress can all contribute to restricted movement and tension. A thorough assessment allows us to determine whether chiropractic care may assist in improving mobility and reducing discomfort.
